Our Start
Hello! The Hippocampus Academy was founded by Dr. Nancy Tsai and started in spring 2024 as a vision of what applied academics could be. It has since grown as a small team of fellow mind and brain enthusiasts. Psychology, cognitive science, and neuroscience consistently rank as one of the top fields of study, but there are gaps in both the translation beyond the classroom and in the transition out of the classroom. We hope our work leads to stronger connections between the sciences and real-world applications.
As a fundamentally student-led organization, we create edutainment in the applied mind and brain sciences. We are excited to share some of our ongoing projects with you. If you consider yourself a dreamer and would like to build something meaningful with us, please join us!
